On June 28, 2024, the Academic Council of Sumy State University decided to establish a one-time specialized academic council for the defense of a Ph.D. dissertation titled “Optimization of the Characteristics of Nanoparticles and Films of CuO, ZnO, SnS Compounds for Solar Energy Converters” by Vladyslav Yevdokymenko, a Ph.D. candidate from the Department of Electronics and Computer Technology, specializing in 105 “Applied Physics and Nanomaterials” (supervisor: Prof. A.S. Opanasyuk). Reviews and feedback on the dissertation have been received, all of which are positive. Consequently, the defense is scheduled for early September (September 5, 2024). Notably, the dissertation defense is taking place before the candidate completes their Ph.D. studies. We wish Vladyslav success in his defense.
