          On April 20, Sumy State University opened its doors to high school students (grades 10-11), college students, and their parents for an unusual event called “Speed Dating with Majors.” This innovative Open House format aimed to engage prospective students in a dynamic and exciting way.

          Instead of traditional lectures and presentations, participants had the opportunity to interact with representatives from different faculties and institutes of SumDU for three minutes each. This short but informative format allowed them to gain a clear understanding of the diverse educational programs offered by the university and to connect with faculty and current students.

          The active participation of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECE) was an important part of the event. Its representatives not only presented their specializations and educational programs but also demonstrated interesting inventions and developments to pique the interest of potential applicants. This added dynamism and interactivity to the event and also gave participants the opportunity to see the practical application of the knowledge they can gain at this department.

         

          Feedback on the event was overwhelmingly positive. Many participants noted that “Speed Dating” was a great opportunity for them to learn about SumDU in an interactive and informal setting.
