On April 22, 2026, the meeting of Section No. 4 “Electronic Systems, Devices and Information Encoding Means” was held online within the framework of the International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists “Physics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering” (FEE-2026). A total of 30 abstracts were submitted to the section organized by the ECT Department, 10 of which were presented during the session.
At the beginning of the meeting, chaired by Professor Borysenko O.A. and Senior Lecturer Shevchenko M.S., the Head of the Department, Professor Opanasiuk A.S., delivered a brief overview of the history of the ECT Department, its staff, and its scientific achievements. Presentations were delivered by both PhD students and undergraduate students of the specialties “Electronics” (Educational Program “Electronic Systems and Components”) and “Telecommunications and Radio Engineering”. More than 30 students, PhD students, and staff members attended the session. At the end of the meeting, the commission composed of faculty members and researchers of the ECT Department determined the winners.
Based on the results of the presentations, the places were distributed as follows:
1st Place – Havryliv I.O. (Group ES-21) for the report “Compact Electronic Assistant with Artificial Intelligence Elements” (Supervisor: Kulyk I.A.).
2nd Place – Dehtiarenko V.M. (Group TK-21) for the report “Quality of Service (QoS) Methods for Multimedia Traffic in Encapsulated Communication Channels” (Supervisor: Diachenko O.V.).
3rd Place – Timonovych O.O. (Group ES-41) for the report “Application of Software Packages for Modeling Electronic Devices: Evolution, Mathematical Apparatus, and Practical Significance (Case Study of EWB and Multisim)” (Supervisor: Protasova T.O.).
Honorable Mentions (4th Place):
Ponomarov V. (Group ES-31) for the report “Morphological Characteristics of ZMO Films for Optoelectronic Applications” (Supervisor: Boiko B.).
Soldatov R.V. (Group TK-21) for the report “Adaptive Digital Modulation System in Radio Channels with Non-Stationary Noise Levels” (Supervisor: Berezhna O.V.).
The presentations by postgraduate students of the EKT Department were also evaluated. The ranking is as follows:
1st Place – Shkyria Yu. for the report “CAM System for Trajectory Generation and Extrusion Control in Liquid 3D Printing of Electronics” (Supervisor: Opanasyuk A.S.).
2nd Place – Moroz N.V. for the report “Structural Characteristics of CdS (Cd₁₋ₓZnₓS) Films Deposited by the Quasi-Closed Volume Evaporation Method” (Supervisor: Znamenshchykov Ya.V.).
3rd Place – Abramian A.O. for the report “Structural Characteristics of Ag₂S Films Deposited by the Spray Pyrolysis Method” (Supervisor: Opanasyuk A.S.).
