From December 17 to 19, 2024, the successful defense of master’s qualification theses was held by students of group EC.m-31 under the “Electronic Systems” educational program in specialty 171 “Electronics”

          From December 17 to 19, 2024, the successful defense of master’s qualification theses was held by students of group EC.m-31 under the “Electronic Systems” educational program in specialty 171 “Electronics”.

 

          The Examination Commission EC 16.1, which included Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Lebed O.A. – Director of the Institute of Applied Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, membersDirector of LLC “ESP Preobrazovatel” Arbuzov V.V., Deputy Director for Computer Equipment Maintenance of LLC “PRAIMFORT” Kibets V.A., Associate Professors of the Department Kulyk I.A. and Novhorodtsev A.I., recognized the presented qualification works as relevant and practically significant. All 18 presented theses aim to solve complex problems in the field of electronics and reflect the modern level of development of electronics and electronic systems, including mobile, embedded, distributed, and programmable ones. The majority of the theses were completed with extensive use of automated electronic system design tools, demonstrating a high level of application of information technologies and software. The results of scientific research in most qualification works have undergone testing at scientific and practical conferences and have been published in conference proceedings.

 

          During the defense, the students demonstrated a high level of professional competence, as well as the ability to present their developments, justify technical decisions, engage in productive discussions, and critically evaluate the obtained results. In the course of presenting their projects, the students confirmed their proficiency in key professional skills, such as conducting research at the appropriate level, generating new ideas, understanding the subject area and professional activities, as well as identifying, setting, and solving problems.

          A number of master’s qualification works were carried out at the request of enterprises and under dual supervision, involving both an academic advisor from the graduating department and a practicing specialist from an employer organization.

          According to the decision of the Examination Commission, the best graduation theses were:

  2. Topic: “Adaptive Electronic System for Linear Modulation of Data Signals”
    Author: Anton Oleksandrovych Abramyan
    Supervisor: Associate Professor of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Ph.D. Kulyk I.A.

  3. Topic: “Adaptive System of Alternative Energy Sources Using Solar Panels and Wind Generators”
    Author: Dmytro Oleksandrovych Lopatin
    Supervisors: Professor of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Opanasiuk A.S.; Senior Lecturer of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering Protasova T.O.

 

          The Examination Commission recommended the following graduates for admission to the Ph.D. program: Abramyan A.O., Hubin A.O., Lopatin D.O., and Sadovnychyi S.O.
