The CMU academic scholarship (which currently amounts to 10,296 hryvnias) is awarded to support the most capable young researchers and to encourage their scientific results. The accrual of payments will begin from the date of the adoption of the relevant decision by the Government.
High competition and rigorous selection
A total of 35 scholarships are provided this year, of which only 28 are allocated for postgraduate students of higher education institutions under the management of the Ministry of Education and Science. The competition was extremely high: the ministry received 69 applications from universities. After a thorough review of the documents, scholarships were awarded to 28 postgraduate students who demonstrated the most significant results.

To win, candidates had to confirm a high level of their scientific activity according to several criteria..
Main achievements:
Publications in Category “A” journals and in publications indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection and/or Scopus databases.
Articles in professional publications of Category “B”..
Availability of open popular science materials and digital content (with DOI or URL).
Leadership of scientific projects that received funding at national or international competitions, as well as submitted applications for such funding.
Patent applications (inventions or utility models).
Additional advantages that were taken into account:
Participation in international academic mobility programs (from 3 months).
Involvement in the creation of startups and innovative projects (supported by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Innovation Development Fund, the EU, etc.)..
Mentorship of schoolchildren who won olympiads and competitions of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine..
Leadership of student scientific circles or sections based at the university.
