On May 1, an awarding ceremony was held for the most active young participants — students and postgraduate researchers who won the competition for the best and most engaging scientific presentations in Section No. 4: “Electronic Systems, Devices, and Information Coding Tools.” This section was part of the International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists “FEE::2026,” which took place at Sumy State University on April 24–26.
The head of the section, a recognized scientist, Professor O.A. Borysenko, sincerely and warmly congratulated the winners, noting the relevance and practical significance of the reports and scientific areas pursued by young scientists: artificial intelligence technologies, 3D printing systems, information coding and reliable communication, solar energy, etc. The winners received original prizes created in the departmental 3D printing laboratory according to the postgraduates’ own designs, as well as valuable gifts, along with the respect and applause of the faculty and scientists of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering. Associate Professors of the department I.A. Kulyk and O.V. Berezhna, as well as senior postgraduate students, also took part in the awarding of the young scientists, students, and postgraduates.
The following scientific reports were recognized as the best among students:
I place – “Compact electronic assistant with elements of artificial intelligence” (speaker, student of group ES-21 Havryliv I.O.);
II place – “Methods of ensuring quality of service (QoS) for multimedia traffic in encapsulated communication channels” (speaker, student of group TK-21 Dehtyarenko V.M.);
III place – “Application of packages for modeling electronic devices: evolution, mathematical apparatus and practical significance (on the example of EWB and Multisim)” (speaker, student of group ES-41 Timonovych O.O.).
Also, incentive prizes were awarded to students of group TK-21 Soldatov R.V. and group ES-31 Ponomaryov V.V.
The following scientific reports were recognized as the best among the postgraduate students of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering:
I place – “CAM system for trajectory generation and extrusion control in liquid 3D printing of electronics” (speaker, postgraduate Shkyria Yu.O.);
II place – “Structural characteristics of CdS (Cd1-xZnxS) films deposited by the method of evaporation in a quasi-closed volume” (speaker, postgraduate Moroz N.V.);
III place – “Structural characteristics of Ag2S films deposited by the spray pyrolysis method” (speaker, postgraduate Abramyan A.O.).
Success and outstanding achievements to the young scientists of the department!
