A Year Starting with Patent Achievements: ECE Department Scientists Secure New Patents

  The beginning of the year has proven successful for the researchers of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECE). We are pleased to announce that our scientists have recently received several utility model patents. These patents were developed within the framework of ongoing research projects at the department: “Synthesis and Optimization of Properties of Nanostructured Films of the Cu-Sn-S System Doped with Zn, Mg, Mn, Se for Solar Energy and Thermoelectronic Devices” (Project Lead: O.V. Diachenko); “Film Heterojunctions Based on New Oxide, Tetrahedrite, and Chalcogenide Materials Deposited via Vacuum-Free Chemical Methods for Solar Energy and Thermoelectric Needs” (Project Lead: A.S. Opanasyuk). We congratulate the authors and wish them continued inspiration, energy, and new scientific breakthroughs that will lead to further intellectual property achievements.
