The educational program “Network and Internet Technologies” has successfully passed post-accreditation monitoring regarding the implementation of the recommendations provided during the 2023 accreditation by experts and the Sectoral Expert Council of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.
The post-accreditation monitoring was conducted in accordance with the decision of the Sumy State University Council for Higher Education Quality Assurance dated November 21, 2024, with the aim of improving the internal quality assurance system of higher education. The Council for Higher Education Quality Assurance of the ElIT Faculty unanimously approved the report on post-accreditation monitoring of the educational program “Network and Internet Technologies” of the first (Bachelor’s) level.
To improve the educational process and enhance the conditions of educational activities within the educational program “Network and Internet Technologies”, the Working Project Group and the academic staff implement the following recommended measures:
the focus and specific features of the educational program are annually updated and refined in accordance with labor market needs;
the list of courses and their teaching and methodological support provided by other departments is regularly updated on the department’s website;
students of the educational program systematically participate in international academic mobility programs (our students M.S. Suprun and S.I. Kyrychenko studied for almost six months at universities in the cities of Púchov and Trenčín in Slovakia);
lecturers involved in the educational program undertake research internships at foreign higher education institutions (Associate Professor O.A. Dobrozhan and Assistant M.S. Yermakov completed internships at the University of Valencia (Spain) within international research projects in 2024–2025);
industry professionals (Director of ESP “Preobrazovatel” LLC V.V. Arbuzov, Deputy Director of PRIMEFORT LLC V.A. Kibets, and Head of the Department of Information Systems Administration, Telecommunications and Information Protection of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Sumy Region D.O. Pecheniuk) are continuously involved in supervising final qualification works, the topics of which are commissioned by enterprises with subsequent implementation of the design results into the production process;
the Mix learning platform is being introduced into the educational process to improve learning conditions by supporting students’ independent work in asynchronous mode and providing access to materials that can be used during synchronous classes;
the practice of engaging stakeholders and industry representatives is continued to discuss and update the program learning outcomes of the educational program “Network and Internet Technologies” in accordance with market needs through meetings of the Employers’ Expert Council, as well as through online forms available on the educational programs catalog website.
Thus, the educational program “Network and Internet Technologies” of the first (Bachelor’s) level in specialty 172 “Telecommunications and Radio Engineering” remains promising and attractive for applicants and students, ensuring their future successful careers.
