The program focuses on advanced engineering and research training in modern electronics, telecommunications, computer technologies, and automated control systems.

The aim of the program is to provide students with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and understanding in the fields of information and power electronics, electronic control and automation systems, including distributed architectures. Graduates are equipped to effectively implement digitalization and automation across various sectors of society — industry, energy, education, and business — through the development, programming, maintenance, and modernization of modern electronic systems. Special attention is given to computer-based, embedded, and mobile solutions as well as the integration of cutting-edge information technologies in electronics.

The program has a strong engineering and research focus. Its subject area covers physical processes and phenomena, control algorithms and systems, circuit and software solutions underlying the operation of modern electronic components, devices, and systems. Students study the fundamental principles of design, modeling, and optimization of electronic systems, measurement methods, experimental planning, and contemporary computer-aided design technologies. A particular emphasis is placed on the integration of electronics and information technologies, including circuit and software implementation of intelligent systems for data acquisition, processing, and visualization in mobile, embedded, and distributed applications.   istockphoto 1063295896 612x612

The educational process is built on the principles of student-centered and research-oriented learning. Teaching methods include lectures (including multimedia and interactive formats), seminars, laboratory work, course projects, internships, and consultations using modern online platforms. Students have access to advanced facilities, including a Voltera V-One 3D printer, an Ossila automated solar cell I–V characterization system, a Specord 210 Plus spectrophotometer, an HCS 1 Linseis Hall effect measurement system, as well as modern computer labs and network equipment.

Šta su Embedded sistemi? – FTN Informatika       Graduates of the program are capable of solving complex engineering and scientific problems in electronics, telecommunications, automation, and information technologies. They can work as electronics engineers, control system developers, telecommunication technology specialists, designers of modern information and electronic systems, as well as lecturers at higher education institutions. The program also provides opportunities to continue studies at the PhD level and to participate in international academic mobility programs — Sumy State University cooperates with leading universities in Spain, Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia, and other countries.
