Following the department’s presentation, Associate Head of the Department Ihor Kulyk introduced the F7 “Computer Engineering” specialization, which will officially launch in 2025 at the bachelor’s level.
The demand for computer engineering specialists capable of developing both software and hardware solutions for advanced computer technologies will remain strong and stable in the coming decades.
Sumy State University is the first in the Sumy region to launch a bachelor’s program in Computer Engineering and remains the only higher education institution in the region that trains professionals in this field. These specialists will address regional challenges related to the research, development, programming, configuration, and operation of modern computer systems and networks, artificial intelligence systems, the Internet of Things, and web-based and cloud computing technologies.
