On Friday, March 28, 2025, the Department of “Electronics and Computer Engineering” held a student Olympiad in the specialties 171 “Electronics” and 172 “Telecommunications and Radio Engineering”.
The Olympiads were conducted in test format remotely and included 30 questions from the following academic disciplines.
Olympiad in “Electronics”:
Measurements and measuring equipment;
Solid-state electronics;
Power electronics;
Analog electronics;
Digital electronics.
Olympiad in “Telecommunications and Radio Engineering”:
Theory of signals and electrical communication;
Theory and practice of information transmission;
Switching and information distribution systems;
Circuit design of telecommunication systems;
Network operating systems.
The Olympiads aroused significant interest among students from both the department’s educational programs and other programs.
A total of 35 students participated in the “Electronics” Olympiad, and 32 students in the “Telecommunications” Olympiad.

Winners of the “Electronics” Olympiad:
1st place – Krolevetskyi Vladyslav (group ES-11) – 37/60 points.
2nd place – Piddubnyi Maksym (group ES-11) – 32/60 points.
3rd place – Byvalin Ruslan (group EP.m-41n) and Sokolov Denys (group ES-21) – 31/60 points.
Winners of the “Telecommunications and Radio Engineering” Olympiad:
1st place – Tovstohuz Bohdan (group ES.m-41) – 49/60 points.
2nd place – Tserkovytska Kateryna (group TK-31) and Maksymets Maksym (group ES-21) – 48/60 points.
3rd place – Byvalin Ruslan (group EP.m-41n), Perestenko Oleksandr (group TK-21), Kravchenko Eduard (group TK-21), Khazhanets Dmytro (group TK-21) – 47/60 points.
