On June 20 and 25, 2025, the successful public defense of qualification theses by the students of group EC-11 took place within the educational and professional program “Electronic Systems and Components” at the bachelor’s level in specialty 171 “Electronics”.
The projects of electronic devices and systems presented by the graduates for defense are relevant, timely, and practically significant. The final qualification works covered the most modern and interesting areas of electronics: unmanned aerial vehicle control systems, uninterruptible power supply systems, computer networks, Smart House technologies, data encryption, and more. Each project sparked active discussion between employers and future bachelors. The students professionally argued their positions, defended their technical solutions, and demonstrated a broad understanding of the latest achievements in electronics, fundamental knowledge, and practical skills in the application of methods for developing and debugging electronic equipment. Members of the examination board expressed their satisfaction with the level of training of the bachelors in electronics under the educational and professional program “Electronic Systems and Components”. Among the members of the examination board at the final certification were the Director of the Institute of Applied Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, O. A. Lebed; Director of LLC “ESP ‘Preobrazovatel'” V. V. Arbuzov; and Deputy Director for Operation and Repair of TV and Computer Equipment at LLC “PRAIMFORT” V. A. Kibets. The results of solving complex problems in the field of electronics, the demonstrated working models and mock-ups of the designed electronic devices, show the graduates’ understanding of the tasks of professional activity in electronic engineering and information technology, and their awareness of responsibility for the development of the electronics industry and the IT sector in Ukraine.
The examination board in specialty 171 “Electronics” of the educational and professional program “Electronic Systems and Components” evaluated 50% of the qualification theses with the grade “excellent” and 42% with the grade “good”. The results of scientific research in a significant number of works were presented at international scientific conferences for young scientists. Specialists from the industry were also involved in dual supervision of qualification theses – Director of LLC “ESP ‘Preobrazovatel'” V. V. Arbuzov and Deputy Director for Operation and Repair of TV and Computer Equipment at LLC “PRAIMFORT” V. A. Kibets.
The best qualification theses according to the decision of the examination board were:
1. “Synchronous Pulse Voltage Stabilizer with Digital Parameter Indication” by student Maksym Yuriiovych Piddubnyi (supervisor – PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department Novhorodtsev A. I.).
2. “Functional Signal Generator Based on XR2206 with Microcontroller Control” by student Vladyslav Volodymyrovych Kroleveckyi (supervisor – PhD, Senior Lecturer of the Department Shevchenko M. S.).
3. “High-Speed Fiber Optic Line Switch” by student Yaroslav Oleksandrovych Karpenko (supervisor – PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department Kulyk I. A.).
All graduates were recommended for admission to the master’s program “Electronic Systems” of the second (master’s) level of higher education.
We wish success in studies and professional careers to the graduates of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering!
