Klymov Oleksiy Volodymyrovych, a Ph.D. student of the Department of Electronics and Computer Technology at Sumy State University, defended his dissertation via video conference on November 22, 2021. The defense took place at the University of Valencia, Faculty of Physics, and also involved a doctoral student from the Department of Applied Physics at the University of Valencia. The topic of the dissertation was: «Crystal growth of functional materials by using CSVS and MOCVD:The AIIMnBVIand II-oxides case». <Author’s abstract>

The dissertation defense committee included representatives from both Spanish universities (Carmen Martínez-Tomás from the University of Valencia and Adrián Yerro Cano from the Polytechnic University of Madrid) and Ukrainian universities (Maksym Mykolaiovych Kolesnyk from Sumy State University, Roman Zaytsev from Kharkiv National Technical University).

The research for the dissertation was conducted under the joint supervision of Professors Vicente Muñoz-Sanjosé (University of Valencia) and Denis Ihorovych Kurbatov (Sumy State University).
