🚀 SumDU Open Day: Department of Electronics and Computer Technology Joins the Meet-and-Greet for Future Students! 🚀

On March 27, a large-scale Open Day event took place at the SumDU Sports Palace, dedicated to introducing future applicants to the university’s educational opportunities. The Department of Electronics and Computer Technology impressed guests with innovative developments, demonstrations of scientific achievements, and interactive experiments that allowed everyone to feel like an engineer and researcher, while also answering numerous questions from the visitors.

Visitors received detailed information about the department’s educational programs, including: 1. Computer Engineering; 2. Electronic Systems and Components; 3. Network and Internet Technologies.

At the department’s location, guests of the Open Day had the opportunity not just to learn about advanced technologies, but to literally touch them. Applicants got hands-on experience with real projects from our students and faculty: from modern equipment for 3D printing of electronic boards to interactive systems. The greatest excitement was caused by the opportunity to test everything personally. Future students operated “smart home” prototypes—adjusting lighting, temperature, and security systems—and interacted with an innovative robotic prosthetic hand, a cutting-edge development of the department in the field of biomedical electronics.

Department representatives spoke about the educational programs at our university, international internships, career prospects, and scientific research at our department. Applicants also learned about preparatory courses, competitions, and scholarship programs that help make studying even more accessible and engaging.

The department sincerely thanks everyone who visited our location and hopes to see the applicants among the ranks of our department’s students as early as this year!
