The meeting of faculty members and researchers of the department with students, studying under the educational program “Electronic Systems”, “Electronic Systems and Components” of the specialization 171 “Electronics” and the educational program “Network and Internet Technologies” of the specialization 172 “Telecommunications and Radiotechnics”

 

 

 

          On April 11th, a meeting of faculty members and researchers from the Department of Electronics and Computer Technology was held with students, who are studying under the educational programs “Electronic Systems”, “Electronic Systems and Components” of specialization 171 “Electronics” and “Network and Internet Technologies” of specialization 172 “Telecommunications and Radiotechnics”. The objectives of the meeting were:

 

 

          The meeting program was rich and interesting. Students were given a tour of the educational and scientific laboratories of the department, where they were acquainted with the history of the department’s development, state-of-the-art electronic equipment and specialized computer technology, as well as the results and prospects of research conducted by staff members. Professors of the department, renowned scientists Borisenko O.A. and Opanasiuk A.S., spoke about the main directions of their scientific work. The Deputy Head of the Department of Electronics and Computer Technology, Associate Professor Kulik I.A., talked about the rules and peculiarities of admission to the master’s program under the educational program “Electronic Systems” of specialization 171 “Electronics” in 2024.

 

          After the tour, students had the opportunity for informal communication with department faculty members in a roundtable format on the topic “The Educational Process through the Eyes of a Student” over a cup of tea. During the discussion, issues related to the organization of the educational process at the department and opportunities for its improvement were addressed. All student comments and suggestions were taken into account and will be considered. Based on the results of the roundtable, it was deemed appropriate to:

 

 

          The activities at the meeting generated lively interest among students and faculty members of the department, and the students expressed hope for further communication in such a format in the future.
