On March 4, 2026, a meeting of the Telecommunications Competition Subcommittee was held at the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering to evaluate and select the best student research papers participating in the University Competition of Student Scientific Works for the 2025/2026 academic year.

According to Order No. 1106-VI dated November 10, 2025, “On Conducting a Competition for Student Research Papers in Fields of Knowledge and Specialties,” the meeting was held chaired by Associate Professor I.A. Kulyk, with sub-commission members Associate Professors O.V. Berezhna and V.V. Hrynenko. Six student research papers were submitted for consideration:

1. “Binary Unit Counter for Coding Systems” by students V.V. Fedenko (group ESm-51) and D.M. Levchenko (group TK-21); Supervisor – Senior Lecturer, PhD Maryna S. Shevchenko.

2. “Load Balancing System in Telecommunication Networks” by students Ya.O. Ivanii (group TK-11) and Ye.V. Oblyvantsov (group TK-21); Supervisor – Senior Lecturer, PhD Oleksii Ye. Horyachev.

3. “Impact of Design and Electrical Parameters of the Transceiver Tract on Antenna-Feeder Device Efficiency” by students D.D. Fedorets and N.V. Klishchenko (group TK-21); Supervisor – Associate Professor, PhD Anatolii I. Novhorodtsev.

4. “Comparative Analysis of Quasi-Equilibrium and Equilibrium Codes” by students M.M. Suprun (group TK-11) and E.M. Kravchenko (group TK-21); Supervisor – Associate Professor, PhD Ihor A. Kulyk.

5. “Analysis of Data Transmission Technologies for Remote Monitoring and Control Systems of Vehicles” by students B.O. Tovstohuza and R.V. Soldatov (group TK-11); Supervisor – Associate Professor, PhD Olha V. Berezhna.

6. “Selection and Justification of the Primary Modulation Method for Radio Engineering Systems” by students Ya.O. Karpenko (group ESm-51) and B.V. Rudnivskyi (group TK-21); Supervisor – Associate Professor, PhD Ihor A. Kulyk.

All submitted works impressed the sub-commission members with the thoroughness of the presented material and professional interest, distinguished by the relevance of the topics, sufficient depth of research, and practicality of the results. The student contestants demonstrated an aptitude for scientific research and creative abilities.

Despite the difficulty of choosing the best papers, the sub-commission members made a decision regarding the winners and awarded prizes to the following research works:

I place“Load Balancing System in Telecommunication Networks” by students Yaroslav O. Ivanii (group TK-11) and Yehor V. Oblyvantsov (group TK-21).

II place“Impact of Design and Electrical Parameters of the Transceiver Tract on Antenna-Feeder Device Efficiency” by students Dmytro D. Fedorets and Nikita V. Klishchenko (group TK-21).

III place“Analysis of Data Transmission Technologies for Remote Monitoring and Control Systems of Vehicles” by students Bohdan O. Tovstohuza and Roman V. Soldatov (group TK-11).

We sincerely congratulate the winners of the telecommunications competition and wish them success in their future scientific activities!
