The scientists are analyzing defect formation processes in the obtained materials, as well as investigating the properties of thin-film heterojunctions based on these compounds. The group is creating device structures (solar cells, radiation detectors, gas detectors) based on heterojunctions and semiconductor-metal structures for electronics, sensors, and solar energy
